We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Room Steward
Job Location: Delta
Job Summary
- Responsible for maintaining the good reputation by providing high-quality service and upholding impeccable room through good housekeeping standards to our clients.
- The role requires individual with good attention to detail, the ability to multi task, and adhering to high standards of customer service established by our policies.
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy the client's room by performing all necessary cleaning activities such as dusting, sweeping, trash removal, mopping, and polishing etc.
- Make beds and change bed linens
- Clean bathrooms, change towels, replenish bathroom supplies
- Perform general cleaning of common areas, such as stairs and corridors
- Adhere to procedures according to company standards
- Exercise tact and discretion when dealing with clients and client?s property
- Report any damages, shortcomings, and disturbances to Camp Boss
- Check and maintain stock levels
- Comply with all rules regarding health and safety of clients and coworkers
Qualifications
- Minimum SSCE
- The ideal candidate must have valid certifications which must include BOSIET or OSP.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role
Requirements:
- Proficient in English
- Work experience as a cleaner, room attendant, or housekeeper, etc. is preferred
- Precision and attention to details
- Polite and professional manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work independently and efficiently, while maintaining a high quality of work
- Friendly and respectful when dealing with clients
- Able to prioritize jobs and manage time well
- High level of propriety and concern regarding clients? privacy
