Generally most people associate the HIV virus as a virus that instantly destroys the immune system once a person has contracted it.but such misconception is absolutely wrong because the virus can be in a persons body for years before it finally begins to destroy and weaken the persons body.
A person can have the virus and not experience or exhibit any symptoms of the body. Symptoms usually may manifest when the immune systems has been weakened by the virus and by then in most cases it is usually late for the ART medication to suppress the virus.
That someone has lost weight doesn't necessarily mean that one has HIV, in most cases symptoms of HIV could also be symptoms of other illnesses.
People actually die from the HIV virus because of their refusal to be placed on medication, some who are even on medication do not take the medication as they have been told to. Some still have unprotected sex and therefore get re-infected again!
N/B havin unprotected sex isn't the only way by which HIV can be contracted!
The only way to actually know if YOU/ONE has the virus or not is to go for a HIV TEST! The only way to survive the HIV virus is to take as prescribed the ART/ARV medications!
It's simple and fast to do a HIV test and less than 15mins the result of the test will be out!
